I am broadly interested in avian ecology, avian behavior, sexual selection, adaptation, speciation, and conservation. I earned my Bachelor degree in College of Life Science in Beijing Normal University at 2013, where I worked with Dr. Qianjin Liang on studying cell-cycle progression. I began my PhD with Dr. Zhengwang Zhang at Beijing Normal Univeristy in 2013, where I studied ecology, evolution, and fieldwork experience. As a visiting PhD in Dr. Scott Edwards’ lab at Harvard University, my current work focused on the speciation process of the Eared Pheasants (Crossoptilon. ) and its genetic conservation.
